Graduate Programs: Pre鈥慉pplication Form

Pre-apply for free

This is the first step toward enrolling in our MSc and PhD programs in Physics and Medical Physics, or the Graduate Diploma in Medical Physics. It's free, it doesn't commit you to anything, and you don't need reference letters at this stage. Your pre-application goes to all of our faculty, so professors across the Department can see your interests and get in touch. See How to Apply for the full process.

Before you start, have ready:

  • a single PDF containing your CV (r茅sum茅) and transcripts for every degree you've completed or are working on, with each university's grading scale (pre-applications without transcripts aren't reviewed);
  • a personal statement of up to 500 words, describing your interests, your experience, and what you'd like to work on.

Timing: we review pre-applications from September 1 to April 30. Over the summer (May 1 to August 31), you're welcome to contact professors, but please wait until September 1 to pre-apply. Medical Physics applicants must apply by January 1 to be considered for September admission.
