2025 Aurum Award winners

Following his heart

For over 60 years, cardiac surgeon Don Hill (MD’60, LLD’87) has devoted himself to developing life-saving technologies, advancing medical research, and supporting postdoctoral research. The Dalhousie 2025 Golden Eagle Award Lifetime Achievement Award recipient talked with Dal Magazine about that impressive legacy and the most rewarding aspects of his philanthropy at work.
