The Dalhousie Cinema & Media Studies Society is an inclusive, welcoming enviroment for students who love film鈥攚hether you're studying Cinema & Media Studies or simply want to connect with other movie enthusiasts.
Building on the theory and analytical skills you've develop in the Cinema & Media Studies program, our Short Film Program offers film production workshops and hands-on experience, culminating in an end-of-year gala showcasing student directed short films.听
We also host free monthly film screenings followed by informal analysis and discussions, giving students a chance to share ideas and explore film together.
Looking to meet new people? Join our weekly casual meetups to chat about the latest movies, discover new favourites, and connect with fellow film lovers in the Halifax community.
