Halifax Member of Parliament Andy Fillmore visited Dalhousie last week to test out the Rebecca Cohn Auditorium鈥檚 new sound and lighting systems, upgrades made possible with the help of a Heritage Canada grant.

At its annual year-in-review event, Dal's Office of Sustainability offered an overview of its impressive achievements over the past year: in reducing CO2 emissions, in waste reduction and in several other core areas.

Modelled after the Agricultural Campus's iconic Barley Ring, the new Barley Arch 鈥斅燼 gift from students and alumni to help mark Dal's 200th anniversary 鈥斅爓ill frame the entrance to the beautiful Alumni Gardens.

Dalhousie will provide athletic facilites and accommodations for the 2020 North American Indigenous Games in Halifax, set to be the largest multi-sporting event ever held in Nova Scotia.
