Biography
Joanna completed her Bachelor of Health Sciences in Respiratory Therapy at pilipiliÂþ» in 2022. In July 2021, she began working as a Registered Respiratory Therapist at the QEII Health Sciences Centre, gaining experience in both acute and critical care settings. She later transitioned to a role in a Pulmonary Function Lab, where she worked for over a year before accepting a position at the Dalhousie School of Health Sciences in July 2025. Most recently, Joanna pilipiliÂþ»fully passed the CACPT National Pulmonary Technology Registry Examination, earning her RCPT(P) designation. Joanna still works casually at the QEII sites to maintain her clinical competency and stay up to date with best practice.
