Each year, the Atlantic Agricultural Hall of Fame celebrates the outstanding contributions of four individuals who have significantly influenced the agriculture industry in Atlantic Canada.
Producers, innovators, volunteers, scientists, and business professionals are recognized for their impact at the local, national, and international levels.
Established in 1968, the Hall of Fame honors one individual from each of the four Atlantic Provinces during an annual induction ceremony and reception hosted by Dalhousieās Faculty of Agriculture every October.
The 2025 inductees into the Atlantic Agricultural Hall of Fame are:
- Anthony "Tony" Corsten (1940-2022) ā Nova Scotia
- Gerald Chevrier ā New Brunswick
- Mette Ching ā Prince Edward Island
- Elvis Gillam ā Newfoundland and Labrador
This yearās induction ceremony will take place on Thursday, October 16th at 1:00 p.m. in the Riverview Room, Jenkins Hall, on the Dalhousie Agricultural Campus.
