The Dalhousie Agricultural Campus Writing Centre will be participating in the 2018 International Write-In on Wednesday, November 28th. The International Write-In is an annual event that encourages writers on campuses around the world to support each other and establishes a sense of community among writers, whose work can feel isolating. Last year, over 125 institutions worldwide participated in the event, including Dalhousie.
The 2018 International Write-In will be held on November 28th from 10:30 until 3:00 in the Dal AC Writing Centre (MacRae Library). Participants may drop in for a short time or spend the full day at the event (whichever they prefer). Writing support, advice from Writing Centre staff, and snacks will be available.
In addition to students, faculty and staff are welcome to participate, to model good writing habits and encourage the growth of a campus-wide writing community.
Please feel free to contact the Writing Centre with any questions (acwrite@dal.ca).
