The Truro & Colchester Partnership wants to help our region grow for the future! When businesses and organizations attract or hire new employees from outside the region, it’s important that we welcome them and help them connect to our community.

We are developing a Welcome Team for the Truro/Colchester Region, and we are seeking residents and businesses who can help us welcome newcomers. Contribute a little time, share your skills and create meaningful relationships as you develop a stronger social network and gain a deeper appreciation of our region’s growing and diverse culture.

What's involved?

Team volunteers make welcome visits, introduce newcomers to members of the community, and familiarize them with local resources and amenities. It might be as simple as taking a newcomer out for coffee, giving a tour of a neighbourhood, or helping them connect with people who have similar hobbies & interests.

3)      When we identify a newcomer opportunity, we’ll contact you to check your fit and availability.
