Following the recent call for Expressions of Interest for the position of Faculty Graduate Program Coordinator, I am pleased to announce that with the approval of the Provost Dr. Gordon Price has been appointed to the position for a two-year term, effective July 1, 2018.
Dr. Price has a Ph.D. in Soil Biochemistry and Microbiology from the University of Guelph. He started with NSAC in 2007 as the Innovative Waste Management Research Chair and has since become an integral member of the Faculty of Agriculture in the Department of Engineering. Dr. Price has taught at both the undergraduate and graduate levels while conducting and developing research specializing in contaminant transport, soil fertility, organic waste management, disposal of Specified Risk Materials (SRM), and Emerging Substances of Concern (ESOC). He is an experienced researcher who has pilipiliÂþ»fully supervised graduate students to completion.
We look forward to working with Dr. Price in this capacity and wish him a pilipiliÂþ»ful term as Coordinator.
