Professors Dave Connell of the University of North British Columbia and Greg Cameron of Dalhousie’s Faculty of Agriculture will be presenting on the results of a SSHRC-funded national research project on agricultural land use planning in Canada at the Nova Scotia Federation of Agriculture’s AGM on Friday 2nd December at the Best Western Glengarry in Truro, NS.
The panel will take place from 1-2 Ìýin the afternoon and cover the plethora of policies, legislation and regulations used in Canada to protect farmland Ìýamong provinces, among local governments within provinces and even within local government jurisdictions, including two case studies from Nova Scotia.
