The Colchester Local Food Week will conclude with a ‘Spare to Share’ garden produce sale at the Riverside Park, Thurs., Oct 20, 4:30-6:30 PM, with ‘pay what you can prices’. We are reaching out to community gardeners to invite them to participate in a variety of ways.
- Come to the Spare to Share to buy the replacement produce that the deer ate out of your own garden, or that all your kids ate!
- Harvest some of your own excess, and book a table to sell your own harvest (maybe to be able to finance more deer fencing next year), contact Brenda Leenders by Oct 18.
- Harvest some of your own excess, and bring it to share for sale at our community table, where funds earned will be used to support other community food projects.
- Have excess produce, but no time to sell? Contact Brenda Leenders to collect and include at the community table.
