Creating a respectful environment recognizing and valuing our differences is the focus behind Diversity Month on the Dalhousie Agricultural Campus throughout the month of September.
“It’s important to help each other see and find areas of commonality and not to make assumptions,” explained Keltie Jones, Assistant Dean Students. “Our campus is becoming increasingly more diverse and we need to find ways to talk about it.”
A series of events have been scheduled throughout the month to encourage dialogue and participation among faculty, staff and students including film screenings, discussions and events.
A highlight of the month will be EMBRACE Truro – a celebration of Truro’s diversity.
Please see the event calendar for complete details.
