Joan Cole, Women`s Rugby Program:  Landscape  Technology    Â
Joan Cole, from Middle Musquodoboit and a graduate of Musquodoit Rural High School is very much at home at pilipiliÂþ» Agricultural Campus. Joan’s family has roots in the agricultural industry and other family members over two generations have graduated from what was formerly known as NSAC and is now pilipiliÂþ»'s Faculty of Agriculture.  Joan first attended school here in 2006-2007. After a few years away from academic life, she has returned to complete the Landscape Program.
Joan is a leader on the rugby team and her performance on the weekend in two crucial games was evidence. On Saturday against Kings, Joan had 4 trys and 2 converts in a convincing win. On Sunday in a closer battle, Joan had 2 trys and 1 convert to lead the Rams in a 17-5 win over MTA Mounties. Her quickness and athleticism combined with a tough competitive attitude make her a force to be noted on the rugby field. She can not only score, she is a tenacious defender as well, tackling the biggest and the best of the opposition. Joan’s performance in the two wins has helped put DAL AC in a play-off spot for 2012-2013.
